THE ART OF THE WET SHAVE.
Start with a mild, closed-comb safety razor and a fresh double-edge blade. Soften the beard with warm water, work up a protective lather using a brush, and shave with short, light strokes in the direction of hair growth.
Rinse the blade frequently. Finish with cool water and a suitable aftershave balm. Replace blades regularly and take care when handling sharp edges.
